Food & Beverage Sales Manager

About the role

The Food & Beverage Sales Manager will drive revenue for Orient Express’s hotel outlets by promoting their unique selling points, building client relationships, and securing event contracts. This role works closely with the Sales & Revenue Department and outlet managers to maximise F&B sales across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all outlet features, amenities, policies and competitor offerings.
• Identify and target market opportunities to expand the F&B business.
• Negotiate and finalise contracts with clients for events and special occasions.
• Act as the primary contact for all F&B bookings and enquiries, coordinating with outlet managers.
• Achieve individual sales targets by generating new business and nurturing existing accounts through face‑to‑face visits, calls and site inspections.
• Respond to all incoming requests within 24 hours to avoid complaints and lost business.
• Monitor revenue and production for the assigned portfolio, maintaining an up‑to‑date account database in the property management system.
• Provide regular updates on negotiations and events to the Director of Food & Beverage.
• Conduct market research, report on competition and suggest new selling strategies.
• Participate in training programmes and operate in a safe, environmentally‑friendly manner.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of hospitality outlets and competitive landscape.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude with a pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet tight response times.
• Attention to detail in maintaining accurate sales and revenue records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) for account and revenue tracking.
