Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Aqaba, Jordan. The role is central to executing HR initiatives, managing core HR processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The successful candidate will support payroll, social security, attendance, vacation calculations, and HRIS management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract qualified candidates.
• Facilitate performance management cycles and provide guidance to managers and employees.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
• Foster positive employee relations, mediate conflicts, and ensure compliance with Jordanian labor laws.
• Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Process payroll accurately, handle social security contributions, and calculate attendance and vacation.
• Maintain and utilize the HRIS for employee records, payroll data, and attendance tracking.
• Conduct workplace investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with change‑management initiatives to support business transformation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian labor laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in payroll processing, social security contributions, and attendance/vacation calculations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
