Information Technology Support Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Information Technology Support Officer to deliver first‑ and second‑level technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring the reliability of hardware, software and network services across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first and second‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and related software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user incidents within agreed service level agreements.
• Assist with server administration, backups, system recovery and asset management.
• Support network connectivity, firewall configuration and endpoint security.
• Manage service‑desk tickets and keep accurate support documentation.
• Perform system upgrades, software installations and hardware refreshes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware, software and networking.
• Experience with IT service‑desk tools and ticket management.
• Good communication, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP is an advantage.
