IT Technical Support

About the role

The IT Technical Support professional is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and enterprise systems. The role ensures reliability, security, and performance while providing advanced technical assistance to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments and related services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Monitor system performance, manage updates, patches, and upgrades to keep infrastructure secure and compliant.
• Maintain virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or VMware) and manage Microsoft Azure cloud resources, optimizing performance and cost.
• Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN access, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Implement security measures, monitor for threats, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Design, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, documenting procedures.
• Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure‑related issues and deliver guidance or training to internal users.
• Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and produce infrastructure reports for technology leadership.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in IT technical support.
