Legal & Compliance Translator (Senior Associate)

About the role

Tarjame is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Legal & Compliance Translation team in Amman. The role is full‑time and hybrid, focusing on delivering precise legal translations for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Translate legal and compliance documents from English to Arabic and vice‑versa, maintaining exact legal terminology.
• Prepare and review legal documents to ensure linguistic accuracy and conformity with legal standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal legal and compliance teams to align translations with business and regulatory requirements.
• Support the creation of multilingual legal content and assist in quality‑control processes.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in translation, specifically legal translation.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation and familiarity with professional terminology.
• Solid foundational knowledge of law and related fields.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce error‑free work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Law, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in legal or compliance translation is an advantage.
