Maintenance Technician – Guest Repair & Facility Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The role combines hands‑on technical work with excellent guest service in a hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical rooms and building systems.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and repair air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, wood‑trim repairs and replace light bulbs, A/C filters and other consumables.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves and utility controls, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and requisition as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler repairs.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls and carpentry.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies, including proper handling of flammable materials.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and strong guest‑service orientation.
• Physical capability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier lifts with assistance.
