Maintenance Technician – Guest Services

About the role
We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our hospitality team in Amman. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests and ensure all facilities operate smoothly and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests promptly.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
- Visually inspect equipment, identify shut‑off valves, and manage utility controls.
- Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate shift activities using approved systems.
- Carry out surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical components, HVAC filters, lighting, and guestroom devices.
- Program televisions, handle housekeeping‑related inventory, and perform landscaping and sprinkler repairs.
- Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
Required profile
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
- Professional appearance, confidentiality, and strong teamwork orientation.
- Physical capability to lift/move objects up to 50 lb and perform manual tasks.
