Mechanic – Property Vehicle Maintenance

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a reliable Mechanic to perform routine and preventative maintenance on its property vehicles, including engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts. The role ensures all vehicles remain safe, operational, and compliant with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and service vehicles by checking oil, fluid levels, tire pressure, and wear.
• Charge batteries, replace spark plugs, and perform basic mechanical repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, and safety incidents.
• Manage maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies, report hazards, and store flammable materials properly.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience maintaining vehicles or similar equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
