Mechanical & LPG Inspector – On‑site in Amman

About the role

The Mechanical & LPG Inspector will work full‑time on‑site in Amman, performing inspections of mechanical equipment and LPG systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and client specifications. The role involves detailed visual and dimensional checks, documentation of findings, and support for corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, pressure and leak inspections on mechanical equipment, tanks, vaporizers, regulators and piping networks.
• Verify installations against NFPA 54 and NFPA 58 safety standards and hazardous‑zone regulations.
• Use precision instruments and non‑destructive testing (NDT) tools to assess structural and system integrity.
• Log non‑conformities, track corrective actions and prepare comprehensive technical inspection reports.
• Communicate inspection results clearly with clients, site engineers and the internal Quality team.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams, interpreting technical drawings and standards.
• Support audits, verification activities and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Solid experience in mechanical inspection of industrial equipment and LPG systems.
• Strong background in quality control or quality assurance within technical or engineering environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, NFPA 54 and NFPA 58.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and ability to identify and document risks.
