Senior Frontend Developer (Oracle JET & VBS Specialist)

About the role

We are looking for a high‑caliber Senior Frontend Developer on a limited‑contract basis to lead the architectural design and implementation of complex enterprise extensions within the Oracle Fusion HCM ecosystem. You will act as the technical authority for Oracle JET and Visual Builder Studio (VBS), shaping reusable component libraries that scale across the suite.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop high‑performance Composite Component Architecture (CCA) components and VComponents for VBS.
• Design sophisticated client‑side state‑management strategies using Knockout.js or the latest JET patterns.
• Conduct deep‑dive performance profiling and optimize DOM rendering and REST API usage.
• Implement secure data handling, including OAuth2 flows and JWT token management.
• Consume and orchestrate complex Oracle HCM REST APIs, handling large‑scale data transformations.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines within VBS, enforce code‑review standards and upgrade‑safe customisations.
• Lead migration of legacy Oracle ADF or classic HCM customisations to the modern Redwood (VBS/JET) experience.
• Mentor junior developers on JET best practices and VBS productivity workflows.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience delivering enterprise‑grade frontend solutions in Oracle Fusion HCM.
• Strong background in migrating legacy Oracle UI customisations to modern frameworks.
• Ability to define design patterns, component libraries and governance processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for performance, security and integration challenges.
