About the role
The Senior HR Operations Specialist will support and enhance HR operational processes at Jo Academy, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and accuracy across the employee lifecycle. This role works closely with the HR Operations Manager to manage HR systems, payroll, employee records, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Support the HR Operations Manager in executing and improving daily HR processes, including onboarding, off‑boarding, employee records, contract management, and HRMS administration.
- Supervise the preparation of employee request letters and final settlements, resolving complex cases and escalating when needed.
- Maintain employee benefits programs, resolve related issues, and ensure timely coordination with providers.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws, providing guidance to team members.
- Prepare, review, and validate monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Monitor attendance records, address discrepancies, and coordinate with payroll for accurate salary processing.
- Oversee Social Security processes, including employee registration, contributions, and reporting.
- Act as the HR liaison for Social Security claims such as maternity, sick leave, and work injury.
