AI Data Annotator – Speech & LLM (Jordan)

About the role

ClearGrid is looking for an energetic Data Annotator to join its Data Annotation team in Jordan. The role bridges linguistics and AI execution, focusing on speech and large‑language‑model (LLM) tasks for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) accents.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe, audit, and label daily speech datasets, specializing in Emirati and Saudi dialects.
• Perform high‑priority LLM labeling, test prompts, evaluate responses, and audit post‑call conversations.
• Monitor dataset accuracy, run quality‑assurance checks, and log edge cases for software or model performance.
• Collaborate directly with AI Research Engineers to refine annotation guidelines, improve model output, and test new annotation tools.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of experience in data annotation, AI operations, linguistic QA, or technical support.
• Strong linguistic intuition and high familiarity with GCC spoken accents (Emirati and Saudi).
• Basic understanding of AI concepts such as ASR, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Methodical, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to maintain high data‑accuracy standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) concepts.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.
