Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will drive growth of IT services and risk‑management solutions for banks and non‑bank financial institutions in Jordan, while also supporting market expansion initiatives in the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within Jordan’s banking and financial services sector.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and cold‑calling to deal closure.
• Maintain a robust revenue pipeline aligned with assigned targets.
• Represent the company in client meetings, negotiations and solution presentations.
• Support regional go‑to‑market initiatives and facilitate introductions in KSA, Qatar and Bahrain.
• Build and sustain relationships with C‑suite and senior executives, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
• Lead webinars, seminars and product demos, and contribute to marketing and demand‑generation campaigns.
• Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts and executive‑level reports in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling IT services or consulting to the banking and financial services sector in Jordan.
• Strong understanding of credit risk, finance risk and market risk.
• Proven ability in lead generation, cold‑calling, email broadcasting and lead hunting.
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Exposure to GCC markets (KSA, Qatar, Bahrain) and experience with cross‑border sales or regional expansion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
