Case Manager (National Position)

About the role

The organization is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to work nationally, providing protection‑focused case management services to vulnerable beneficiaries. The role involves conducting home visits, assessments, and coordinating multidisciplinary support to ensure the safety and well‑being of individuals, especially children.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct home visits, needs assessments and baseline surveys to identify vulnerabilities and protection risks.
• Provide intake assessments, prioritize cases by risk level, and perform psychosocial assessments.
• Develop individualized case plans with informed consent and deliver psychosocial counseling for low‑to‑moderate vulnerability cases.
• Refer high‑risk cases to psychologists and report external service referrals (medical, legal, etc.) with follow‑up.
• Collaborate with psychologists, protection coordinators and other specialists in case conferences for complex cases.
• Support cash distribution coordination and assist in protection‑related trainings and capacity‑building.
• Prepare activity impact reports and share case‑management tools with the MEAL department.
• Maintain weekly communication with the Protection Coordinator and Project Manager and coordinate with HQ and technical advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Human Rights, International Development or related field (Master’s degree is a strong asset).
• Relevant training or certification in Case Management, Child Protection, GBV, PSEAH, psychosocial support or safeguarding.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in humanitarian, development, protection or community‑based programming.
• Demonstrated experience in protection case management, including intake, assessment, risk classification, planning, referrals and case closure.
