Commis A – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis A to join our kitchen team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training across multiple stations, allowing you to develop core culinary skills while supporting senior cooks.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through various kitchen departments to learn diverse cooking techniques.
• Assist senior cooks in daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow.
• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards at your workstation.
• Monitor and organize refrigerators and storage areas according to hygiene protocols.
• Participate in scheduled training sessions to improve technical and operational knowledge.
• Follow fire safety and HACCP procedures, including proper use of kitchen firefighting equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma (or equivalent); further education is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
• Good written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge and food‑safety compliance.
