Consultant – BCM (GRC)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant specialized in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to lead and deliver comprehensive continuity and disaster recovery engagements for our clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and develop actionable recovery strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end BCM, IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) and Crisis Management projects, including framework design, Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and recovery strategies.
• Lead incident, crisis, and ITDR workstreams, ensuring delivery aligns with KPMG standards.
• Act as the primary client liaison, building trusted relationships and providing practical, value‑driven advice.
• Review and finalize client deliverables such as reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Coach and review the work of Consultants and Senior Consultants.
• Contribute to proposal development, business development initiatives, and thought‑leadership content.
• Support practice quality management, methodology enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in BCM, Crisis Management, Resilience, IT Resilience or Risk Advisory.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 22301, ISO 27031 and related BCM and crisis management standards.
• Hands‑on experience defining MAO, MBCOs, RTOs, RPOs and recovery strategies in complex environments.
• Proven ability to lead multiple engagements concurrently.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Relevant certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, ISO 22301 LA/LI are preferred.
