DevOps Engineer – GKE & Terraform (GCP)

About the role

Digital Gates is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and operate its Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) platform and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure using Terraform. You will ensure that cloud resources are provisioned in a controlled, repeatable, and version‑managed manner.

Key responsibilities

• Operate development and production GKE clusters, handling node pools, upgrades, scaling, capacity planning, and incident response.
• Manage GCP resource provisioning through Terraform, maintaining version‑controlled code, deployment workflows, drift detection, and rollback readiness.
• Maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code standards, module libraries, and comprehensive documentation to keep changes auditable and transferable.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes and IaC issues, supporting platform reliability, security, and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with GKE and Terraform on GCP.
• Strong operational knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud provisioning.
• Certification such as CKA or HashiCorp Terraform Associate is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset to avoid single‑person dependency on critical capabilities.
