D&T Analyst - Platform Engineer

About the role

The D&T Analyst – Platform Engineer will join Aramex’s Integration team to design, build and support data exchange solutions across the company’s global network. You will work with customers, vendors and internal stakeholders to enable seamless shipping, tracking and financial data flows.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers, vendors and internal teams to gather integration requirements and guide them through onboarding (API, EDI, file‑based).
• Collaborate with product, business analyst, operations and IT teams to deliver end‑to‑end integration solutions.
• Maintain and monitor existing integration processes on the Boomi iPaaS platform, ensuring reliability, security and performance.
• Develop, document and support APIs that connect Aramex’s systems (SAP, CargoWise, Infolink) with external applications.
• Implement data transformation, cleansing and enrichment while preserving data integrity.
• Investigate and resolve integration incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Recommend and implement improvements to increase platform stability and reduce operational costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in software development or systems integration.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based integration platforms, preferably Boomi.

Required skills

• Boomi iPaaS (process design, connectors, error handling, deployment).
• API development and consumption (REST, SOAP, authentication, versioning, documentation).
• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) formats – X12, EDIFACT.
• FTP/SFTP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server (table design, stored procedures).
• Basic knowledge of SAP, CargoWise and Infolink integration points.
