Junior Accountant

About the role

The Junior Accountant will support the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager in handling the full billing and invoicing cycle for a variety of contract types. This role is essential for ensuring accurate, timely invoices and maintaining strong cash‑receipt records.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AR Manager to process billing for Cost‑Plus, Time‑and‑Material, and Firm‑Fixed‑Price contracts.
• Prepare compliant customer invoices using Costpoint and external invoicing systems.
• Review, submit, and distribute invoices within established deadlines.
• Reconcile billed and unbilled accounts, identify discrepancies, and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Record cash receipts accurately and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist with AR reconciliations and month‑end close activities.
• Enter cash disbursements in Costpoint according to company policies.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and investigate variances promptly.
• Perform additional tasks to improve the efficiency of the accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Arabic and English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline pressure.
