Junior Cold Kitchen Chef with Front‑of‑House Duties

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Cold Kitchen Chef who will also support front‑of‑house operations. Based in Amman, you will work on‑site in our all‑day dining concept, preparing fresh salads, bowls and appetizers while interacting with guests to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and plate cold dishes such as salads, bowls, and appetizers according to brand standards.
• Maintain consistent portion control, quality, and visual presentation.
• Ensure proper food storage, hygiene and safety in the cold kitchen area.
• Assist with mise en place and coordinate with the kitchen team during service.
• Engage with guests, answer menu questions and deliver orders accurately and on time.
• Support inventory management, stock rotation and overall cleanliness of the work environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in cold kitchen preparation, preferably in a restaurant or café setting.
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and a strong eye for presentation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
• Reliability, punctuality and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean workspace.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
