About the role
The Kitchen Service Unit Head leads all daily food and beverage service operations within Abdali Hospital, ensuring 5‑star hospitality and strict clinical nutrition standards for patients and guests.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily shift operations, staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for trayline, cafeteria and room service.
- Oversee precise meal distribution according to dietary instructions, manage urgent orders and coordinate with kitchen, dietitians and other departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs, control costs, prepare requisitions for equipment and minimise waste.
- Enforce hospital safety, infection control and hygiene standards in all service areas.
- Lead, train and motivate the service team, conduct briefings and monitor performance.
Required profile
- Minimum high school diploma; hospitality diploma preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar food‑service leadership role.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Required skills
- Computer literacy for inventory and scheduling tools.
- Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
