Linen Runner – Housekeeping (Full-time)

About the role

The Linen Runner supports the Housekeeping team in a busy luxury hotel environment. You will coordinate room status information, prioritize cleaning tasks, and ensure smooth communication between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.

Key responsibilities

• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status and identify discrepancies.
• Prioritize and assign cleaning tasks, including rush and Do‑Not‑Disturb rooms.
• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments to housekeeping staff.
• Document and resolve room status issues with the Front Desk.
• Monitor and update the list of ‘Do Not Disturb’ rooms.
• Complete required housekeeping paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Provide courteous guest service and uphold quality standards.
• Use computer systems to enter and retrieve work‑related information.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related housekeeping or hotel experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and information retrieval.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with multiple departments.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items up to 10 lb without assistance.
