Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to coordinate material and service needs across departments, develop procurement plans and ensure timely delivery of quality goods.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse departmental needs, prepare procurement plans and budgets aligned with operational goals.
• Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers, request and compare quotations based on quality, price and delivery.
• Prepare purchase orders following approved procedures and monitor order progress until delivery.
• Negotiate commercial and technical terms with suppliers and draft contracts in coordination with the legal department.
• Monitor supplier performance, address delays or issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions and generate regular activity reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures and uphold transparency and integrity throughout the process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate within a team.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
