Senior Engineer – BTS (ICT & Security)

About the role

WSP Middle East is looking for a Senior Engineer – BTS (ICT & Security) to join its Amman office. The role will support the design, development and implementation of ICT and security systems for large‑scale projects across the Middle East, taking ownership of technical solutions and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support BTS leadership in designing and delivering ICT and security solutions for regional projects.
• Lead and review technical designs, ensuring compliance with client requirements and standards such as BICSI, TIA and MOI.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers within project teams.
• Coordinate integration of ICT and security systems in complex built‑environment projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, calculations and project documentation.
• Maintain high‑quality outputs while adhering to schedules and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ICT, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in ICT and security engineering, preferably on large infrastructure or building projects.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with regional and international design standards; BICSI certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
