Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

Estarta is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join its IT Department in Amman. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing a secure, high‑performance enterprise network that supports the company’s growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain enterprise‑grade network infrastructure, including routing, SD‑WAN, load balancing, VLANs and QoS.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and other security appliances, ensuring compliance with ISO and NIST standards.
• Lead network architecture projects such as upgrades, cloud integration (Azure, AWS) and data‑center connectivity.
• Plan, install and optimise wireless networks across sites.
• Monitor performance, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date documentation (HLD/LLD, SOPs, disaster‑recovery plans).
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet or Palo Alto solutions.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and Layer 2/3 switching.
• Hands‑on expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust, wireless networking and load balancing.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, hybrid environments).
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident management processes.
• Advanced troubleshooting and leadership abilities.
