Senior Security Engineer – D&T Analyst

About the role

The Senior Security Engineer – D&T Analyst will join Aramex’s Technology team to protect digital assets, ensure data confidentiality, and maintain system availability. You will implement robust security measures, respond swiftly to incidents, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to embed security into all IT initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls to protect customer data and corporate assets.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring rapid resolution.
• Provide technical security support to internal and external customers.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of security infrastructure and tools.
• Coordinate incident response and breach management across the organization.
• Integrate security requirements into change‑management, architecture, and design of new systems.
• Manage data encryption solutions for data in transit and at rest.
• Develop and enforce a patch‑management process to keep systems up‑to‑date.
• Secure endpoint devices using antivirus, encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate threats.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity and proactive incident response.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and integrate security into business processes.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with security trends and regulations.
