Warehouse Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead all warehouse activities for a large‑scale food manufacturing operation, overseeing raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and overall inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a large team of Warehouse Keepers, ensuring proper manpower allocation, productivity, discipline and adherence to procedures.
• Oversee storage and inventory processes for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, guaranteeing FIFO/FEFO, food safety, hygiene, quality and traceability compliance.
• Monitor material availability, coordinate with Procurement for timely replenishment, and track consumption against stock levels.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, Sales, Distribution and Finance to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Manage the movement of finished goods from production to storage, supervise night loading operations and ensure accurate loading documentation.
• Record all warehouse transactions, receipts, issues, transfers and adjustments accurately in SAP.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damages or expiries and implement corrective actions.
• Lead periodic and annual physical stock counts and reconcile results with SAP records.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, space utilization and continuously improve KPIs related to efficiency, accuracy and cost control.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in large‑scale food manufacturing warehouses.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, material planning and FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Proven ability to lead and develop large warehouse teams.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, HACCP, ISO requirements and traceability systems.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor stock levels, investigate variances and drive continuous improvement.
