Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator will ensure that clinical studies are conducted in compliance with protocols, international regulations, and Jordanian FDA requirements. The role involves coordinating study staff, managing documentation, and safeguarding participant safety throughout the trial.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review study staff schedules, supervise nursing staff, and ensure all required materials and equipment are available before study start.
• Collect and enter data, complete case report forms, and manage informed consent documentation.
• Monitor subject screening, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and procedures such as ECG, vital signs, and biological sample handling.
• Maintain study files, source documents, and trial master file; attend JFDA inspections and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies to report protocol deviations and ensure timely data submission to quality control and data management teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (or diploma with 0‑5 years experience).
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to react quickly in emergency situations while maintaining clear vision.
• Organizational, managerial, and leadership abilities to interact effectively with diverse team members.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and international guidelines.
• Proficiency with Excel for data review.
• Experience using Clinical Information Management System (Prestosoft) and PRU platform.
• General computer literacy.
