Ophthalmologist

About the role

The Ophthalmologist will deliver comprehensive eye care at Al Munir Eye Center, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular conditions, performing examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and conducting surgical and laser procedures as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform eye examinations, prescribe medications and corrective lenses.
• Conduct laser and surgical procedures, including pre‑operative assessment and post‑operative follow‑up.
• Collaborate with other eye‑care professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients on eye health and preventive care.

Required profile

• Medical degree with residency or specialization in Ophthalmology and a valid local license.
• Proficiency in optometry tasks such as refraction and lens prescription.
• Experience with laser procedures and eye surgery, including pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
• Attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
