Head of Transaction Banking

About the role

The Head of Transaction Banking will lead Bank of Jordan’s Transaction Banking business across all markets. This senior position is responsible for strategy, revenue growth, product innovation and delivering a client‑centric service proposition.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Group’s Transaction Banking strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives.
• Drive growth of cash management, trade finance, liquidity management, digital channels and API solutions.
• Lead sales and relationship management for large corporates, SMEs, financial institutions, government and public‑sector clients.
• Collaborate with Corporate Banking, Institutional Banking, Treasury and other units to originate and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Oversee product development, lifecycle management and compliance of all Transaction Banking solutions.
• Monitor business plans, revenue targets, profitability and key performance indicators.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, risk appetite and operational standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in transaction or corporate banking.
• Strong track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans across multiple markets.
