Procurement & Supply Chain Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Supervisor to lead our procurement operations, manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts, both locally and internationally.
• Oversee import, export, shipping and customs clearance activities.
• Manage inventory levels, determine reorder points and maintain optimal stock.
• Evaluate and develop relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparisons, analyze quotations and support purchasing decisions.
• Develop annual procurement plans, manage budgets and control costs.
• Travel to supplier sites and project locations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement and supply chain experience, including international operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Fluent English for business correspondence and negotiations.
• Valid driving license when required by the job.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping and customs clearance.
• Experience with inventory management and determining reorder points.
• Proficiency in ERP, procurement and inventory management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to prepare technical/commercial comparisons and analyze quotations.
