Overseas Procurement Officer

About the role

The Overseas Procurement Officer is a full‑time, site‑based position at the Al Qatrana Power Plant in Jordan. You will lead international procurement activities, ensuring the timely sourcing and delivery of goods needed for power generation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source international suppliers, prepare and issue purchase orders, and coordinate shipment and delivery.
• Review, negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Conduct market research, compare quotations, analyse pricing trends and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
• Evaluate supplier performance and cost efficiency to support data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Strong procurement and purchasing experience, preferably in the energy or power generation sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
