Regional Coordination Technical Officer – MENA

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Regional Coordination Technical Officer to support its MENA Regional Team. This position provides high‑level administrative, coordination and technical assistance to ensure effective planning, communication and reporting across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive support to the MENA Management Team, including calendar management, meeting preparation and follow‑up on action points.
• Coordinate internal communication and information sharing between the regional team, country offices and head office.
• Prepare, consolidate and maintain reports, trackers, briefing materials and presentations for regional and global reporting.
• Support operational functions such as Health, Access and Safety through planning, training coordination, compliance tracking and information‑management systems.
• Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring timely follow‑up and handling confidential information with discretion.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with experience supporting senior management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced humanitarian environment.
• Professional handling of sensitive and confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in document control and information‑management processes.
• Experience with reporting and tracking tools.
• Familiarity with coordination and communication platforms used in humanitarian settings.
