About the role
The International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) is seeking a Regional Engagement Coordinator for the MENA region, based in Amman, Jordan. The role involves strengthening NGO collaboration, advocacy, and coordination across the region while linking operational realities to global humanitarian policies.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen the role of NGO Fora in regional and national humanitarian coordination and advocacy.
- Facilitate ICVA member engagement with inter‑governmental organisations and Member States in the MENA region.
- Link operational realities on the ground to global policies and practices.
- Create opportunities for regional consultation and collective action on common issues.
- Coordinate closely with the ICVA Director of Engagement and other regional RECs.
Required profile
- Authorization to work in Jordan (no visa or work permit sponsorship available).
- Experience in humanitarian coordination, advocacy, or related NGO work.
- Familiarity with forced migration, coordination, and financing issues in the MENA context.
