Senior Assessment Officer - Shelter & Site Management

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Senior Assessment Officer to lead shelter and site management assessments in the occupied Palestinian territory. Based in Amman, the role supports the REACH Initiative by providing high‑quality data and analysis to inform humanitarian interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement rapid shelter and site assessments in the oPt.
• Collect, manage, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data on shelter conditions.
• Produce GIS maps and remote‑sensing products to visualise displacement patterns.
• Coordinate with field teams, partners, and donors to ensure data quality and timely reporting.
• Contribute to strategic recommendations for shelter assistance and site planning.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in humanitarian affairs, geography, urban planning or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in shelter assessments or site management in emergency contexts.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and in complex security environments.
