Junior HR Officer

About the role

The Junior HR Officer supports the HR department throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, administration, and operational processes. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized individual who can handle multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with candidates, coordinate onboarding, and prepare employment contracts and related documents.
• Maintain accurate employee records, update HRIS, and produce HR letters, certificates, and official correspondence.
• Support attendance, leave, probation, and overall employee lifecycle administration.
• Assist payroll preparation by validating attendance, leave, overtime, and employee data.
• Contribute to performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards, and follow up on HR tasks to meet deadlines.
• Arrange travel logistics, manage visa and work‑permit applications, and coordinate internal service requests with IT, Administration, and Finance.
• Collaborate with all departments on HR requests, policy implementation, and additional HR duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in HR or HR administration.
• Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and the employee lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of Jordanian Labor Law is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and follow‑up skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal.
