Learning and Development Coordinator

About the role

The Learning and Development Coordinator supports the Human Resources team by handling administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and assisting candidates throughout the application process. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Westin property in Aqaba.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain filing systems for HR documents.
• Prepare and type office correspondence using a computer.
• Distribute and route incoming and outgoing mail.
• Order and track HR office supplies and forms.
• Answer phone calls, record messages, and provide courteous service.
• Create new employee personnel files and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Assist walk‑in candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean, accessible application area.
• Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding HR policies and programs.
• Inform HR management of employee‑relations issues within the division.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records.
• Follow company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and welcome guests according to standards.
• Enter and locate work‑related information using computer systems.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related HR or administrative work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
