Plumber – Hotel Engineering Team

About the role

The Plumber will join the Engineering department of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba, reporting to the Chief Engineer. The role ensures all plumbing, water supply, drainage and sanitary systems operate safely and efficiently for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of all plumbing systems and equipment.
• Inspect, repair and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage and sanitary installations throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to plumbing maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Repair or replace pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, showers, pumps and related fixtures.
• Detect and fix water leaks to prevent damage and wastage.
• Support hot and cold water system performance, water pressure and flow.
• Assist with water tank, pump and related equipment maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and replaced materials.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a plumber, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Technical or vocational qualification in plumbing or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and materials.
• Maintenance techniques for water supply, drainage and sanitary installations.
• Troubleshooting of plumbing problems.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
