Public Relations Specialist

About the role

The Public Relations Specialist will execute PR plans, develop compelling content, and manage media relations to enhance the company’s public image. This role requires strong writing, planning, and communication abilities to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved PR plans and monitor timelines and deliverables for designated brands and regions.
• Research, write, and edit press releases, articles, and other copy aligned with communication objectives.
• Create briefs for photography and video assignments that support PR releases.
• Prepare itineraries for visiting journalists and escort media during site visits.
• Coordinate interviews with print and broadcast media, ensuring key messages are accurately conveyed.
• Build and maintain strong media relationships, responding to queries with approved information.
• Generate clear reports on PR initiatives for business units and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with external PR agencies and internal teams to maximize PR opportunities and ensure integrated communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in media communications and public relations.
• Experience in a PR agency is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with international and national personnel.
