Engineering Coordinator – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Engineering Coordinator will supervise building management systems, monitor plant activities, and provide administrative support to the engineering team at Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. The role works closely with housekeeping and front‑office teams to ensure high‑level guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the operation of the building management system (BMS) and monitor all plant activities.
• Schedule and follow up preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring work orders are entered in the Dyna Win system.
• Analyze plant performance data, diagnose failures, and propose remedial actions.
• Assist the Director of Engineering with annual investment, project and replacement budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with fire, hygiene, health and safety policies and Mövenpick standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel engineering or similar facility management.
• Mechanic or Electrical technical education (college/university level preferred).
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with engineering software.

Required skills

• Building Management System (BMS) operation and programming.
• Dyna Win work‑order management.
• Preventive Maintenance (PPM) scheduling and reporting.
• Data logging, alarm management and plant performance analysis.
• Knowledge of standby generators, fire alarm systems and related controls.
