Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Amman. You will support the restaurant manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to provide optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and address any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Maintain storage areas using FIFO, conduct inventories, and requisition supplies.
• Monitor dining room seating, service flow, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Complete work orders for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Uphold company safety, security, and quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant restaurant or food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
