Catering Executive

About the role

The Catering Executive will coordinate daily catering orders, functions, and events for a hotel within the Accor network. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Catering & Conference Services, you will act as the main liaison between clients, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily catering orders, functions, and events.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and preferences.
• Prepare quotations, menus, proposals, and event‑related documents.
• Work closely with kitchen, service, and other departments to guarantee smooth operations.
• Ensure food preparation, presentation, delivery, and service meet company standards.
• Oversee event setup, service arrangements, and breakdown.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, client details, orders, and invoices.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to secure timely product availability.
• Assist in monitoring catering costs, inventory, equipment, and supplies.
• Handle client feedback, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Support the Catering Manager in planning and executing large‑scale events.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Catering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in catering or hospitality.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
