Guest Services Agent – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a Guest Services Agent to join our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team at Marriott International in Amman. The role involves handling guest inquiries and requests through multiple channels and ensuring a seamless, high‑quality experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, record and process guest requests via telephone, email, chat and mobile devices.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake‑up calls and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Log all guest interactions in the system and follow up to confirm resolution.
• Provide information on room features, hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Process room‑service orders, advise on menu selections and record transactions in the POS system.
• Assist guests with internet access and in‑room entertainment.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Commitment to delivering courteous and attentive service.

Required skills

• Telephone switchboard operation.
• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
