Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our hotel’s housekeeping team. You will be responsible for handling guestroom and food & beverage linen, ensuring it is sorted, cleaned and ready for distribution while maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and count soiled guestroom and F&B linen, place in containers, label and prepare for pick‑up.
• Set aside misused or damaged linen for further investigation and report any foreign objects found.
• Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift and at the end of the day.
• Fold and pile clean towels and bathrobes for floor staff to collect and deliver.
• Transport containers of clean linen to the linen room for distribution.
• Assist with washing towels when required, following chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions or health‑and‑safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions provided by Housekeeping or HR.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational training; at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Fluency in the local language; basic English is desirable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb (≈ 11 kg).
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus.
