Laundry Presser

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Laundry Presser to join our hotel’s housekeeping team. You will operate a professional laundry press to shape and de‑wrinkle garments for guests and staff, ensuring every piece meets our high standards of presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the laundry press, using steam or chemicals to remove wrinkles and shape garments.
• Set and monitor press temperature according to fabric type, using covering cloths to protect delicate items.
• Maintain equipment settings to avoid damage and ensure consistent results.
• Prepare finished garments for collection by hanging or folding them appropriately.
• Follow health and safety procedures and attend training provided by Housekeeping or HR.
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational training; at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Fluency in the local language; basic English is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb.
• Previous experience in a luxury‑hotel laundry environment is desirable.
