Restaurant Captain

About the role

We are looking for a Restaurant Captain to join our dining team and ensure an excellent guest experience. Working closely with the Supervisor, you will coordinate staff, manage table assignments and uphold health and safety standards in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute tables and tasks among team members to optimise service flow.
• Request appropriate staffing levels from the cooperative company based on demand.
• Identify operational needs in the dining area and inform the Supervisor.
• Follow check‑list procedures to maintain compliance with health, safety and service standards.
• Coordinate the work of all team members to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
• Oversee the transfer of goods and materials between service areas.
• Support the Supervisor with administrative matters and team development initiatives.
• Track food and beverage inventories on a monthly basis.
