Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service operations in a busy hospitality environment. This full‑time position requires hands‑on leadership, a focus on guest satisfaction, and the ability to drive financial performance while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant, bar and room‑service activities, stepping in for staff when needed.
• Maintain service quality and sanitation standards across all food‑and‑beverage areas.
• Review and adjust staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial goals.
• Lead, coach and mentor the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering trust, respect and cooperation.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, local liquor laws, food‑handling regulations and health‑safety standards.
• Assist with menu planning and support servers and hosts during peak meal periods.
• Identify training needs, develop and implement training plans to achieve performance targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to improve satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of experience in food & beverage, culinary or related fields.
• OR a two‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related discipline, plus a minimum of two years relevant experience.
