Storekeeper (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Storekeeper to join our hotel operations in Amman. The role involves handling incoming merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the food‑service areas with proper stock management.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and label merchandise by department for proper placement.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory in a timely manner.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, and quality.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and adhere to food‑safety policies.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb, moving through confined spaces, and navigating uneven surfaces.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
